Kristin Culotta

Kristin Culotta is a stained glass artist and educator based in Camas, Washington. From her forest studio tucked among towering trees, she creates contemporary stained glass artwork and travels throughout the United States teaching workshops for artists of all skill levels. Her work is influenced by Bauhaus, Art Deco, and geometric abstraction, blending strong design principles with a modern approach to the traditional craft of stained glass.

Kristin earned her BFA in Fine Art Photography from California State University Long Beach, where she studied traditional and experimental photography. She later spent two decades in the restaurant and hospitality industry, serving as Director of Food & Beverage Operations for boutique hotel brands including The Standard Hotel and Proper Hospitality before transitioning into her artistic career.

Since discovering stained glass in 2013, Kristin has built a thriving artistic and teaching practice centered on thoughtful design, technical precision, and approachable instruction. Through her artwork and workshops, she is committed to sharing the craft of stained glass and encouraging creative exploration. Beyond her studio, she serves as Co-President of the Columbia River Artisans Guild and is a board member of the Camas-Washougal Garden Club, remaining actively involved in her local community.
